Kelly joined the team in 2014 and is the third generation in her family to be part of Mt. Pleasant Agency – Central Insurance. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University, graduating in 2008 with degrees in communication and theatre. Kelly is a former president of the Rotary Club of Mt. Pleasant, serving in 2023-2024.  She also volunteers with Art Reach and the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation. Kelly has served for the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) as Membership Board Chair (2021-2022), Membership Board (2020-2021), and their Marketing & Communications Committee (2017 – 2020). Kelly is an alumna of the Rollie Denison Leadership Institute (RDLI) and RDLI Capstone through the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining the agency, she worked for the American Red Cross and as a television news producer in Grand Rapids. Outside of work and volunteering, Kelly loves singing, playing guitar and piano, reading, growing her lavender garden, and spending quality time with friends and family.
