Lauren joined the Mt. Pleasant Agency – Central Insurance team in 2018 with 2 years of previous experience in the insurance industry. Her focus is helping people with their home, auto, and life insurance needs. Lauren is the current president of the Optimist Club of Mt. Pleasant having served as the club’s secretary and vice president beginning in 2018. She is an Eagle Award recipient through the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce for her involvement in the Optimist Club. Lauren is also a Girl Scout troop leader in Shepherd and volunteers on the Shepherd Elementary PTO as their board secretary. Lauren is a graduate of the Rollie Denison Leadership Institute through the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce and a CMU Alumna with degrees in psychology, anthropology, and marketing. Outside of work, Lauren also runs a homemade artisan cookie business called Adams Homestead from Scratch. She grew up in Midland, and now resides in Shepherd with her husband and their two children.
